Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are in search of a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to work with our professional team of developers and programmers.

Responsibilities:

• Performs duties under general directions from the Quality Assurance Lead
• Tests new website products, product features, enhancements, and fixes against product standards
• Executes test plans and documents results
• Prepares documentation updates
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job

Qualifications:

• Ability to write and accurately execute test plans
• Ability to write clear, concise and accurate documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong interpersonal skills are required to interface with diverse groups such as end users, managers and support staff
• Results oriented, highly motivated and detail oriented
• Reliable; exercises sound judgment at all times
• Works well alone or as part of a Team.

Skill Level:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in the use of Internet applications e.g. e-mail, web browsers
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Undergraduate degree – IS major
• Previous Quality Assurance testing experience

This is a full-time in house position in Spicer, MN. No remote workers or consultants need apply.
