1 Opening, Full Time OpportunityPosition Description
This position is responsible for providing software support and implementation services to clients, assisting with quality testing, and writing user documentation for our financial and manufacturing products including, but not limited to, our ISV product Ability Financials and Microsoft Dynamics GP, especially manufacturing and distribution series.
Responsibilities:
- Project management of Microsoft Dynamics GP Manufacturing and Ability Financials implementations for new customers.
- Implement and upgrade Microsoft Dynamics GP modules in which you are certified.
- Train end users to effectively use all modules being implemented
- Assist sales with product demonstrations
- Assist sales with developing project time estimates and technical proposals
- Research and Development
- Solicit and compile client requests for features/enhancements
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements
- Evaluate feasibility of requests
- Research and write product requirements
- Monitor and respond to software support requests regarding Microsoft Dynamics GP Financials, Distributions, and Manufacturing series and Ability Financials via email and telephone.
- Research problems using internal tracking system (TrackIt), internal training material and Microsoft websites.
- Conduct needs analysis to match the clients’ needs to the existing software functionality
- Document system processes
- Participate in and present at Annual User Group Conference
- Assist Marketing in developing promotional materials
- Write test cases for new features, update existing test cases for enhancements
- Assist with testing of all new releases of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Ability Financials
- Communicate problem reports to programming as needed
- Gather all information necessary and update existing software documentation such as User's manuals, installation guides and on-line help files
- Assist in Developing training materials
- Coordinate the release of all new versions of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Ability Financials
- Work with supervisor to determine a schedule for additional certifications that should be obtained. A minimum of 1 certification per year is required.

Position Requirements:
- Ability to relocate to Minnesota or Florida offices
- Experience implementing manufacturing and distribution series of Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- Experience with Microsoft back office products (SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, etc.)
- Three years experience implementing accounting software
- One years experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP
- Strong knowledge of general accounting and/or general accounting experience
- Excellent business writing and oral communication skills
- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality.
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated initiative and positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to travel if required (some travel involved)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting or working with Release 9.0 or 10.0 of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Microsoft Dynamics GP software certification in financials, distributions, manufacturing, installation and configuration areas.
- Bachelors degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, business management/administration, or MIS/IT
6 month goals:
- Obtain additional GP certification
- Learn AF software - documentation is available
1 year goals:
- Ability to perform needs analysis for prospects for GP and AF.
- Ability to project-manage, implement and upgrade AF and Microsoft Dynamics GP modules in which you are certified.
- Ability to QA Ability Financials
- Ability to write technical specifications/requirements
- Ability to train end users
